The $SBV$ folder/directory is a hidden folder created by SyncBackSE and SyncBackPro to store old versions of files. This only occurs if file versioning has been enabled in a profile (versioning is not enabled by default). Do not rename or change the files in these folders. SyncBackSE/Pro will automatically update and delete them as necessary.
