We have received a report that Sophos Antivirus installed on Android device has silently blocked SyncBack Touch from accessing the contents of an external SD card. Thus, the backups to external SD card failed with the error:

Scan failed (-1): Error: Connection problems, response timed out.


To resolve the error, you need to turn off App Reputation feature from Sophos Antivirus and restart SyncBack Touch:

- In Sophos Mobile Security, go to Settings.

- Disable the App Reputation setting under the Live Protection section.
