Does SyncBack support my storage device?


SyncBack supports any system that can be accessed like a normal drive. This includes USB keys, CompactFlash, SD cards, external drives, NAS devices, etc. SyncBack can also access remote drives over the Internet via FTP (all versions), FTPS (not SyncBackFree), or SFTP (SyncBackPro only). SyncBackPro can also backup and sync with numerous cloud services and backup your email.


SyncBackPro/SE can also use SyncBack TouchSyncBack Touch is a cross-platform file server. It lets SyncBackPro and SyncBackSE copy files to and from another device, e.g. Windows, Linux, macOS or Android device, over the network (LAN or Internet).


SyncBackPro/SE can access devices connected to the computer that support the Media Transfer Protocol, e.g. devices that use Android.


With SyncBackPro you can also create your scripts that could give you access to other devices.


Always make sure you have installed the latest drivers for your device. If you are using a NAS device, check to see if you are using the latest firmware. Devices that have their own firmware can behave differently to devices under Windows' control, and/or exhibit unexpected errors.
